'Sir' Lancelot  Name on pedigree 'Sir Lancelot van 't Schouwse 'Oekje'

Sir Lancelot is a male to our heart. His conformation, his coatcolor, his charisma, his personality, Lancelot has got all we were looking for in a future studmale. To our opinion a frenchie male should be a little bit a macho guy, as in conformation as in personality. But at the same time we like to see him as a gentleman. He has to be kind to puppies and bitches, and offcourse has to like people. He has to be nice, friendly and gentle. Lancelot got it all.

Lancelot adores people. Everyone who enters the house will be asked (no, will be  demanded!) for a hug, a pet, preferably multiple hugs. He likes cuddling and attention. When we go for a walk, he likes to go to people, even complete strangers and expects to be cuddled or pet. And every time he gets the attention he wants.

To other dogs Lancelot is extremely social. He will not be provoked easily by macho dogs. In his own gang Lancelot has this 'naturally authority' on him. He does not have to prove him self, the other dogs just feel and accept his (fair) dominance in the gang.

We see Lancelot as a fine adition to our group of dogs and especially to our trio of studmales. Sir Hugo is our 'busines' card where it somes to the more sporty type of frenchie, the older type of frenchie (say that of the 1900 beginning), Sir Lancelot is our 'business' card where it somes to a manly, sturdy, greater type of frenchie. Further, Lancelot does not have, like Hugo, similarities in his background with our females. Allthough we believe in linebreeding, we like to avoid extreme linebreeding and do an outcross to bring some new lively healthy treats in a bloodline that is allready seen so much. We see Lancelot as a good manner to achieve this goals in the pups, or their pups, of our females.

Another advantage of bringing Lancelot as a studmale to our breedinggoals, is that he is from a bloodline that was able to deliver the puppies without C-section. Because our goal is to improve the breed and we hope to see more frenchies to be able to do it all by herselves, we hope Lancelot will bring this ability, in combination with the right females, in to his offspring.

Lancelot allready has produced beautiful and very healthy offspring for our kennel.

Lancelot is availabe as studmale for breedtypical health tested females outside our kennel.

Health tests:
Lancelot is health tested on airways, neck, back, heart, lungs, trachea, hips and knees. The X-rays pictures of neck, back and trachea and hips are available to serious puppybuyers.
