'Countess' Iza Name on pedigree 'Goldsierra Warden Iza'

Iza is a quiet but verry happy, even merry, frenchie. She is en active girl, she always likes to go for a walk (allthough she is not very fond of cold weather...).

Iza is a little bit shy regarding dogs with whom she is not familiar with. She will not easily meet a strange dog, preferring walking away in stead of playing. Iza is not the type of dog that will cause trouble. In the contrary. She is friendly and calm. When she knows another dog well then she is always in for a play and a challenge.

Iza also is our guarddog. At least she tries to be. When she hears a strange sound or thinks she saw something, she is alert and barks to warn us. As soon as she discovers that it is nothing serious she jumps from joy and excitement and wants to be pet. Even by a stranger... (so far for being a good watchdog...)

In short: Iza is a very sweet, kind, active and happy frenchie with a little bit of courage just when it is needed.

Health tests:
Iza is health tested on airways, neck, back, hips and knees. The X-rays pictures of neck, back and hips are available to serious puppybuyers. Iza is also tested on the presence of d-gen. Iza does not carry the dillution gen and is DD. The official result of this test is also to be seen.

Pecularity:
Iza has a ´down´ ear because of a combination of a correction bite from another gangmenber and a wrong way of taping of the ear. The bite given by one of the other dogs probably as a kind of warning or correction was not very serious but it was in the period of teething, a hard period for an ear to stand naturally. In an attempt to help the ear to get his upright position, we taped the ear. But this was accidentally made in a wrong way. The form we had used had some space in it, therefore the ear was able to (unnoticeably) fold IN the form. When we realized that it was too late. In stead of taping again (in may be another wrong way) we decided to leave the ear along and accept the fact that our precious and beatiful dog has a ´down´ ear.

When she was a puppy, Iza carried the ear upright:

Iza has had a litter in spring 2009. She brought up two females and a male. The male stayed here (see Our Males) and the two girls are living with very nice family.

Iza has had a second litter in 2010. Her son Hugo from the first litter helped her to raise and educate the puppies. The three males grew up very healthy and are living with wonderful people.
