'Lady Basaltrock' Bella Name on pedigree 'Blue Beauty von Badbull'
We have given Bella a title preceding her name that reflects her color. In Lady Basalt-rock all is said about Bella. She is a gorgeous 'iron lady' as well as in personality as in health and she is wearing this beautifull basalt-rock like grayblue coat. When Bella arrived in the Empire she was a little bit shy but by growing older and having passed her first heats Bella has turned out to be a girl that knows what she wants and it is this selfconfidence what some day will make her the leader of te pack. Towards people Bella may react a little bit reserved at the first moments but still she approaches them friendly but once she is on a lap she will be one of the sweetest girls you have ever know. She likes to be in that spot very very much. Bella is an active girl, she likes the dominant males in the gang, likes to play with them, likes to challenge them, likes to find out how far she can go with them before they end the play. She is fond of little Wiebe(l) but she also likes to dominate him (just because she knows she can!). In that case she really is an 'iron lady'. Besides personality and selfconfidence, Bella´s other remarkable feature is her coat color: blue. Some people will say it is her weakness, but we think of that being nonsense because we will never discriminate on color! And there is not any proof of being blue being unhealthy! We prefer having a nice healthy blue girl in stead of a 'normal' colored agressive frenchie with patella luxation or someting worse in health! Bella is great on all three aspects: health, personality especially towards people AND coat color! Her blue is a magnificent blue, like that of the Napolitano Mastino. We ourselves call it riflebarrel blue or basalt rock blue. Bella´s blue is a steelblue, grayisch blue coatcolor which you can best be judged in true daylight and outside. Like velvet, or steel, the shine of Bella´s coat changes with the light. When she is inside the house, with the electric lamps burning and the twilight outside then she seems almost black. The only difference between Bella´s black and a normal black dog is the shimmering her black color has. In full sunlight Bella´s blue can turn into slate or pave stone gray. Bella's blue differs from the other blue frenchies in the fact that she is a Solid Blue, without any trace of brindle. She is almost uniformly blue colored. This is the blue we really adore and like to see.
Health
tests: Bella has had her first litter in summer 2011. She did it al by herself! It was a natural deliverance! Too bad too puppies were lost (pregnancy of 58 days) because they had died in the womb. Fortunately two wonderful boys survived and they grew up fantastically. Foto´s:
